A Role-Playing Game (RPG; often roleplaying game) is a type of game in
which the participants assume the roles of invented characters and collaboratively
create or follow stories. Participants determine the actions of their
characters based on their characterization, and the actions succeed or
fail according to a formal system of rules and guidelines. Within the
rules, players can improvise freely; their choices shape the direction

There are many different forms of role-playing game that can take you
into the type of story that you enjoy and let you be the hero, whether
you want to play face-to-face across a table or online. Role-playing games
in this category should not be confused with so-called "adult role-playing
