Sleeping lions

Age range:

Young kids, Kids

Birthday party, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Halloween, Easter

You will need:
Some children, a supervising adult
How to play:
All the children lie down and must keep still (breathing is permitted). If one is seen to move they are then out and must sit along the side.

This is very useful for calming things down.

1. "Lions and Monkey" is a non-calming version, one player is the Monkey and the rest are lions. The monkey may say anything to try to make the lions move (usually laughing), when they do they are out and must sit along the side. No physical contact allowed.

2. "Lions and Monkeys" (plural) in this variation any lion who moves becomes a monkey and can try to make the other lions move. No physical contact allowed.
