Breaking the ice this Halloween!

Give a gift of laughter, thrills and spooky spills this Halloween. Thereís nothing that beats a neighborhood get-together after an evening of trick-or-treating and a fun theme Halloween party is the ideal way to meet up with friends and get to know new neighbors as a friendly way to break the ice between you!

Speaking of breaking the ice though, there are a number of creative and creepy ideas for decorating the halls and setting the scene for your Halloween party. A fun and freaky idea is to make life-side floating zombie hand ice cubes! For the punch or whatever other necessary refreshments you have at your Halloween party, this suggestion is an absolute scream! It doesnít require much preparation either, but you need to allow at least a day to freeze the ice hands.

For your zany zombie hand drink coolers, first of all you need to buy some rubber or latex gloves. Make sure you wash them well with a little dish soap, rinse them, and then turn them inside out. Fill them with water and then fasten the wrist hole with an elastic band. Put them in the freezer, and if itís at all possible, hang them from the shelf. This will ensure the best shape.

Just before your party, when youíre in your Halloween costumes and you have all your fancy dress accessories ready, run these ice blocks under a little warm water to remove the glove, and peel it off the frozen hand. Donít be dismayed if the ice fingers break off, this happens often as they are quite fragile, but it just completes the whole ghoulish picture! Add the ice hands to your punch bowl, and youíre ready to party!

Halloween is all about child and adult fancy dress complete with wigs, masks and accessories. But itís also about eating and drinking and entertaining yourselves Ė have fun with your next Halloween!
