What Thanksgiving is

Thanksgiving Day is a celebration for and of family. It’s a time when you try to get together with your family. It may be that families don’t always get on but family is important. Perhaps one of the most important things about Thanksgiving Day is that, although it began among a religious group, it can be seen as non-denominational – anyone can celebrate family.

Thanksgiving tends to be an opportunity to eat until you can’t eat any more then kick back and watch six hours of football. Food is a very important part of Thanksgiving Day so take a look herefor some menu ideas.

But rather than just watching football you could be playing it. Going for a walk with the family or indulge in other turkey-related activities.
