Musical statues

You will need:
Some children. One adult (minimum) and a music player of some sort with lots of volume and a pause facility – a portable CD player is ideal.

How to play:
The music is started and the kids must dance.
When the music stops the kids must stand perfectly still.
If any of them move noticeably they go out, judged by the adult playing the music. If he can’t decide then just play another round.
Having two or three adults judging is better, and they have to agree on who goes out. If the last two or three kids are identical for three rounds at the end of the game then they all win.

More leeway should be given to little kids.
