Wedding Anniversary Poems
Create something truly special for the couple’s wedding anniversary
party, if you can find someone who can write a poetry that is dedicated
to that couple.
Try not to go for something sickly sweet and sentimental – unless
they like that sort of thing.
If there is no one who can do that then feel free to use the poem to
the right. The copyright remains with the author, however you are given
permission to use it to help celebrate someone’s wedding anniversary.

Climbing aboard together
The starting climb
The tension of the launching ramp
Holding your breath at the crest then...
Free-fall!
Hitting the first turn that pulls and tears
The fast straight
The buffeting corners
The ups and the downs
Holding hands
Holding tight
The nerve-breaking twists
The terrifying turns
Screaming and crying
Shouting and laughing
Round and round and upside-down
Leaving memories in your wake
And driving into the future.
